Two-year-old missing in Amethi after 20 hours, search intensifies

A two-year-old child who went missing while playing outside his home in Amethi remains untraceable even after 20 hours, with rescue teams and police continuing their search operation.

The incident occurred in Samdiya mohalla under Amethi Kotwali area. The toddler disappeared from in front of his house where he had been playing.

Family members of the missing child fear he may have fallen into a pond or well in the village. Based on this apprehension, an SDRF team along with local police are making continuous efforts to locate the child.

Late at night, Amethi SP inspected the site of the incident accompanied by a dog squad and SWAT team. During the inspection, the SP also met with the affected family members and gathered information about the case.

Despite the extensive search operation involving multiple agencies, no trace of the two-year-old has been found so far, leaving the family in deep distress as the search continues.
