Body of missing 11-year-old Charu Kashyap found in Bulandshahr river

The body of 11-year-old Charu Kashyap, a fourth-grade student who had been missing since July 28, was recovered from the Kali River near Chawli village in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The discovery comes after an extensive search operation that lasted nearly 90 hours, involving local police, SDRF (State Disaster Response Force), and a team of divers.

Authorities had intensified efforts after Charu's disappearance was reported, and despite challenges, the search teams did not give up. Yesterday, the NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) had withdrawn from the operation, but local teams continued their work. Their persistence paid off when Charu's body was finally located in the river.

The district administration has sent the body for post-mortem examination at the mortuary to determine the cause of death. Speaking about the operation, Irfan, one of the divers involved in the search, praised the collective efforts of the teams and expressed sorrow over the tragic outcome.

The incident has left the local community in shock, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the young girl's disappearance and subsequent death. Police are expected to conduct further investigations to ascertain the details of the case.
