Thousands gather in Amethi for grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession

A grand procession marking Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, was taken out with great fervor in Musafirkhana, Amethi. The Mohammadi Juloos began from the Sunni Waqf Jama Masjid on Isauli Road and wound its way through the entire locality of Basti Bhanauli, passing through Malik Hargadwa Petrol Pump before returning to Nagar Panchayat Musafirkhana opposite Isauli Road, where thousands of people gathered to participate in the celebration.

At the culmination of the procession, Maulana Nurul Hasan Nuri addressed the congregation and shed light on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. He emphasized that the Prophet had delivered a message of humanity, brotherhood, and love. Maulana Nuri stated that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad remain the greatest guidance for humanity even today. Children from the Anjuman who participated in the procession were honored with prizes distributed by Sahban Ahmad.

Several religious leaders and community figures addressed the Mohammadi Juloos during the occasion. Maulana Mahmood Alam, Pesh Imam of Waqf Jama Masjid, Office Faizan Ahmad, Pesh Imam of the entire Basti, Maulana Bilal Ahmad Malik, and Maulana Mohammad Umar, former Pesh Imam of Jama Masjid, spoke to the gathering. They urged Muslims who joined the procession to act upon the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and maintain brotherhood through humanity and love.

The event witnessed participation from prominent political and social figures including Samajwadi Party senior leader Syed Maqsoodul Hasan, Ubaid Ahmad, Councilor Tasleem Ahmad, former Nagar Panchayat Chairman candidate Firoz Khan, Israr Ahmad, Ghulam Ahmad, Mojis Abbas, Councilor Khalil Ahmad, Chand Babu Ansari, Shahid Mustafa, Furqan Ansari, and Akeel Haider Bhanauli, along with thousands of other participants who joined the Juloos-e-Mohammadi.
