Tamil Nadu Transfers Two Collectors, Appoints Monica Rana in Tenkasi

New Collectors for Karur, Tiruppur and Tenkasi as T.N. government goes for bureaucratic reshuffle

The Tamil Nadu government has transferred the Collectors of Karur and Tiruppur and appointed Monica Rana as the new Collector of Tenkasi in a wider bureaucratic reshuffle.

C. Muthukumaran, who was District Collector, Karur, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Tiruppur.

He replaces Manish S. Narnaware, who has been appointed Managing Director of Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited.

S. Prasanna Ramasamy, who was Deputy Secretary to the Governor (Universities) at Lok Bhavan, Chennai, has been appointed District Collector, Karur.

He replaces C. Muthukumaran in the Karur district administration.

Changes in Tenkasi and Tirunelveli

Monica Rana, Commissioner of Tirunelveli Corporation, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Tenkasi.

She replaces Ranjeet Singh.

K. Priya, who was Joint Director (Technical) in the Directorate of e-Governance, has been appointed Commissioner of Tirunelveli Corporation.

K. Priya replaces Monica Rana in the corporation.

The changes therefore cover the district administrations of Karur, Tiruppur and Tenkasi, as well as the municipal administration of Tirunelveli Corporation.

S.P. Karthikaa, Chief Executive Officer of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment.

She replaces S. Valarmathi, who has been appointed Director, Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils.

R. Sadheesh, who was Director, Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils, has been transferred and posted as Director, Sericulture, Salem.

S. Shanthi, Joint Commissioner in the Commissionerate of Prohibition and Excise, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority.

She replaces S.P. Karthikaa.

Welfare, rural development and transport postings

Sangeetha, District Revenue Officer at Amma Unavagam in the Greater Chennai Corporation, has been appointed Director-cum-Mission Director, Integrated Child Development Services, Chennai.

She replaces K. Santhi, who has been appointed Managing Director of Overseas Manpower Corporation Limited.

N. Kalidoss, Zonal Officer-10 of the Greater Chennai Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Additional Director (General) in the Directorate of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Chennai.

M. Indhumathi, Chief Administrative Officer of the Koyambedu Market Management Committee under the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary in the Transport Department.

Venkateshwaran, Sub-Collector of Karur Division, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Collector of Chidambaram Division in Cuddalore district.

He replaces M. Subadharshini, who is on maternity leave.

R. Priya, Managing Director of Subramania Siva Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited, Dharmapuri, has been appointed Managing Director of Salem Starch and Sago Manufacturers’ Service Industrial Co-operative Society Limited, also known as SAGOSERVE.

R. Priya replaces R. Keerthy Priyadharshini.

Appointments to corporations and state agencies

Rajakirubakaran, General Manager (Procurement) of Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited, has been appointed Executive Director of ELCOT.

M. Manimegalai, General Manager of the Tamil Nadu Ex-Servicemen Corporation, has been appointed Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Watershed Development Agency.

M. Manimegalai replaces R. Kannan, who was holding additional charge.

A. Meena Priya Dharshini, Joint Director in the Directorate of Children Welfare and Special Services, has been appointed Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Small Tea Growers’ Industrial Cooperative Tea Factories Federation Limited, known as INDCOSERVE, in Coonoor.

She replaces Raja Gopal Sunkara.

T. Sengottaiyan, Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition) in the Highways Department, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Chennai Metro Asset Management Limited.

He replaces Sweta Suman.

The government said some of the officials transferred and posted in the reshuffle had recently been inducted into the Indian Administrative Service from the Tamil Nadu State Civil Service.
