Markets in Shamli See Increased Activity Ahead of Karwa Chauth

Markets across Shamli district have started witnessing increased activity as Karwa Chauth approaches. Married women are busy preparing for the festival, and a strong sense of excitement can be seen among them.

The rush is especially visible at mehendi stalls, where women are arriving to get designs applied to their hands and feet. Mehendi artists are creating attractive designs according to the preferences of their customers.

Women from areas far from Shamli are also reaching Naya Bazar in Shamli to get mehendi applied. Some women are choosing traditional mehendi designs, while others are opting for attractive and intricate patterns.

The increasing movement of women in the market has also brought enthusiasm among shopkeepers and mehendi artists. The rising demand for mehendi has made the market more lively as women make preparations for Karwa Chauth.

Women said that the Karwa Chauth fast holds special importance for them. On this day, married women observe the fast while praying for the long life of their husbands and a happy married life.
