Two youths arrested in Raxaul over alleged cyber espionage, OTP sharing

News of the arrest of two youths has emerged in a case linked to alleged cyber espionage in Raxaul, in East Champaran district. The development has raised questions about a suspected cyber espionage network operating through digital accounts.

According to the report, the two youths allegedly created WhatsApp accounts using Indian mobile numbers. They are accused of sending the OTPs received to activate those accounts to foreign handlers.

The investigation will focus on digital evidence, the mobile numbers used, and the role of the alleged contacts connected to the case. These details are expected to be important in establishing what happened.

However, the arrests by themselves do not prove guilt. The allegations will have to be confirmed through the investigation by the agencies concerned and the judicial process.
