Rotary Club Chandausi Lakshya Holds Polio Awareness Rally on World Polio Day

Rotary Club Chandausi Lakshya organised a major polio awareness rally in the town on the occasion of World Polio Day on 24 October 2026. The rally was organised to spread awareness among the public about the commitment to a “पोलियो मुक्त विश्व” and to carry the message of health security to people across society.

The rally passed through the main roads of the town. During the event, Rotarian members used slogans and banners to convey the message of polio eradication. The programme focused on encouraging public participation in the effort to eliminate polio.

A large number of Rotarian members and office-bearers of the club took part in the programme. They participated with enthusiasm and a spirit of service. During the rally, the participants jointly renewed their pledge to eliminate polio, a deadly disease, from its roots.

The enthusiasm of the members who joined the rally was clearly visible throughout the programme. Their participation reflected the service-oriented approach associated with the Rotary Club’s polio eradication campaign.

Rotary Club Chandausi Lakshya expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all the Rotarian members, office-bearers and supporters who gave their valuable time and cooperation to make the rally successful.

Club office-bearers said that the dedication and support shown by everyone was an outstanding example of Rotary’s spirit of service. They said that Rotary’s polio eradication campaign is being carried out across the world and that their club is also playing an important role in this major campaign.

Through the rally, citizens were appealed to ensure that their children aged 0 to 5 years are given polio drops. The public was also asked to cooperate in keeping the country polio-free.
