According to police, on the night of 16 September, Ravi Dabi and his associate Sawan Lohar allegedly assaulted and abused Hitesh Yadav. After this, both of them reached the house of Nihal Singh alias Neni and allegedly demanded one lakh rupees in extortion while threatening him with a knife.
It has been alleged that Ravi Dabi fired a pistol at Nihal Singh and also fired a shot into the air. The police then took action and arrested Ravi Dabi from the Prem Nagar area near Pandyakhedi Bridge, located on MR-5 Road.
Police said a total of 23 criminal cases have been registered against the accused from 2005 to 2026. The cases are registered at various police stations. Police are carrying out further legal action in the matter.
