Police Superintendent reviews crime control strategy across Pratapgarh district

Police Superintendent Deepak Bhukar reviewed crime control and law and order arrangements in Pratapgarh district after convening a crime meeting at the Sai Complex located in the Police Lines. The meeting was held to assess the current crime situation and strengthen policing measures across the district.

The gathering saw the participation of Additional Superintendent of Police Eastern Alok Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police Western Brijnandan Rai, all circle officers, station in-charges and officers in charge of concerned branches. During the meeting, the Police Superintendent sought detailed information from officers and station in-charges about the crime situation in their respective areas, pending cases and police action taken so far.

Bhukar issued directions to intensify the campaign for arresting wanted and warrant accused while maintaining effective control over crimes. He emphasized that maintaining law and order is the primary responsibility of the police. Instructions were issued to keep continuous surveillance in sensitive areas, increase patrolling and ensure swift action on crime incidents.

The Police Superintendent asked station in-charges to remain active in their areas and take effective action against criminals, while also directing them to resolve public complaints on a priority basis. The meeting also reviewed matters related to crimes against women and children, pending investigations, public grievances, traffic management and security preparations for upcoming festivals.

Bhukar issued strict instructions to all officers to work with team spirit and maintain peace and law and order in the district. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts across all police units to ensure public safety and effective crime prevention mechanisms remain in place throughout Pratapgarh.
