Ghaziabad ACP Leads Wave City Patrol, Flags Dark Spots

Ghaziabad, September 29, 2026: Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Wave City Priyashree Pal carried out a foot patrol with the police force in the Wave City police station area on Tuesday late evening to review the security arrangements and assess the law-and-order situation.

The patrol was conducted with the objective of maintaining peace and law and order in the Wave City area and creating a sense of security among ordinary citizens. During the exercise, ACP Priyashree Pal inspected different routes, deserted stretches, lanes, crossings and public places falling under the police station area.

As part of the inspection, the lighting arrangements and the overall security situation were assessed in detail. Several dark spots, or poorly lit locations, were identified during the patrol and marked for necessary attention.

ACP Priyashree Pal directed the concerned officials to maintain alertness at these dark spots and to work actively to ensure the safety of women and the general public. She said that regular patrolling and better lighting arrangements can help reduce the possibilities of crime.

According to the police administration, the step is being seen as important for strengthening law and order in the area and for increasing the feeling of safety among local residents. The patrol also focused on checking vulnerable locations where improved visibility and police presence can support public security.
