Police arrest ten for brawl at Sambhal Ganesh fair, parade accused publicly

Police in Sambhal have taken strict action against hooligans who created disturbances at a fair, arresting ten accused persons and parading them publicly to send a strong message that lawbreakers will not be spared at any cost.

The crackdown followed a violent incident during the Ganesh Chaturthi fair in Chandausi, Sambhal, where two groups clashed and attacked each other with belts. The confrontation took place late at night at approximately 11:40 PM at the fair ground, despite heavy security arrangements being in place. The belt-wielding brawl created panic and chaos among fairgoers, disrupting what should have been a peaceful public celebration.

A 29-second video of the incident went viral on social media, prompting swift police action. Authorities moved quickly to identify and apprehend those responsible for disturbing the peace. The police arrested ten individuals in connection with the incident on charges of disturbing public order and tranquility.

The arrested accused have been identified as Bablu, Hariom, Rinku, Ramniwas, Shiva, Vishal, Nizam, Junaid Alam, Prem and Aditya Kumar. All ten accused were produced before a court following their arrest.

The police action, including the public parade of the accused, has created a stir in the area. Law enforcement officials have made it clear through this crackdown that anyone attempting to create disturbances or disrupt law and order at public places will face strict action.
