National Lok Dal district president and advocate Sagar Shukla met the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Auraiya today and raised public issues affecting different localities and gram panchayats in the district. He held a detailed discussion on resolving the problems and submitted two memorandum letters, requesting that the concerned departments take necessary action.

The first memorandum focused on encroachment and traffic-related problems on the Auraiya-Phaphund main road. It stated that broken bricks placed along the roadside by brick kiln operators, vehicles parked on the roadside, grit, sand and other construction materials were obstructing movement and creating difficulties for traffic.

Sagar Shukla demanded that the pavement areas on both sides of the road be cleared of encroachments. He said this would make movement easier and safer for people using the road.

The second memorandum raised several public issues in different localities and gram panchayats.

In Radha Vatika, he sought a solution to the sanitation problem caused by regular sanitation workers not arriving for duty. In Gayatri Nagar, he demanded a proper drainage system for a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging.

In Barbatpur village of Auraiya block, he demanded an inquiry into the construction work of the incomplete panchayat building. He also sought verification of the construction-related records and expenditure, along with necessary action to complete the building.

In Khanpur, he called for a site inspection of the damaged road in the lane leading to Premanand Ashram and near Gautam Buddha School. He demanded construction or repair of the road as required after the inspection.

In Aanepur village, he requested that the concerned department be directed to ensure electricity facilities in the lane known as Ram Singh’s Bagiya lane in the New Basti.

Sagar Shukla urged the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to take all the issues seriously and direct officials of the concerned departments to conduct site inspections and necessary inquiries. He requested that action be taken promptly and according to the rules so that ordinary citizens could get relief from these problems.

He said that bringing problems reported by the people of the area to the administration’s notice and making continuous efforts for their resolution was his priority. He added that issues related to public interest would continue to be raised responsibly.
