Kanpur Dehat accelerates electricity line relocation for stalled public infrastructure projects

A high-level review meeting was held in Kanpur Dehat district to expedite the pending displacement and removal of electricity lines affecting public infrastructure and development projects. Chief Development Officer Vidhan Jaiswal chaired the session at Maa Mukteshwari Devi Auditorium in the collectorate, under the direction of District Magistrate Kapil Singh.

The CDO issued strict instructions to complete all pending electricity line relocation work within the stipulated timelines while maintaining high quality standards. He emphasized the need for close coordination between the Basic Education Department, Secondary Education Department, and the Electricity Department to accelerate progress on these projects. A zero-tolerance policy was announced for any unnecessary delays in matters concerning public interest and development work.

The Electricity Department was specifically directed to prioritize and expedite the resolution of remaining cases on an urgent basis. The meeting underscored that no laxity would be tolerated in ensuring timely completion of these infrastructure adjustments, which are critical for the smooth functioning of educational institutions and other public facilities.

Senior officials present at the meeting included District Schools Inspector Brijbhushan Chaudhary, District Basic Education Officer Ashish Kumar Pandey, and the Superintending Engineer (Electricity), along with other concerned departmental heads. The coordinated approach outlined in the meeting is expected to remove administrative bottlenecks and ensure that electricity line displacement work, which has been pending in several locations across the district, is completed without further delay. The initiative reflects the district administration's commitment to removing infrastructural impediments that hinder public welfare and development activities in Kanpur Dehat.
