Jal Jan Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra reaches Pratapgarh on Modi tribute journey

The 'Jal Jan Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra', which departed from Varanasi for Vadnagar as part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' marking 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public life, reached Pratapgarh after passing through Bhadohi and Machhlishahr. The yatra was accorded a grand welcome in the district.

Under the leadership of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha district president Anshuman Singh, the yatra received a grand welcome at Shivgarha. Following this, welcome programmes were organized by workers and the general public at various stops along the yatra's route through the district.

According to the scheduled programme, the yatra was welcomed at Rampur at Prem Sadhana Palace located in Raniganj under the leadership of Dheeraj Ojha, at Prithviganj under Ajay Singh's leadership, at Chhayawan bridge by MLA Rajendra Maurya, and at Bhupiamau under the leadership of Ashutosh Tiwari. In addition, the yatra was also welcomed at Sukhpal Nagar, Raniganj, Mohanganj, Sagra Sundarpur and Lalganj.

During the course of the yatra, programmes connected with chaupal, tree plantation and the Swachhta Abhiyan were also organized at different locations. After this, the yatra will proceed towards Raebareli.

As per the scheduled programme, after returning from the Raniganj-Ajgara area, the yatra will halt for night stay at Maa Sheetla Devi Dham and will resume its onward journey towards its destination on 19 September.

Preparations for the welcome of the yatra have been made under the leadership and guidance of BJP district president Ashish Srivastava along with Rajesh Singh and Rajesh Mishra. On this occasion, BJYM district general secretary Nitish Srivastava, Rajnish Shukla, Vinay Singh, Brijesh Patel, Sujit, Angad Maurya, Prashant, Pushpa, Love Gahlot, Vivek Sharma, Pappan Singh, Pratibha Singh and other workers were present.
