Samajwadi Party Alleges BJP Failed Youth, Farmers In Pratapgarh

The Samajwadi Party has once again launched a strong attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party government, raising issues related to PDA and the concerns of young people. The party made these allegations at Chilbila Radhe Palace in Pratapgarh.

The Samajwadi Party alleged that the BJP, after showing people the dream of “good days”, had left them facing inflation, unemployment, poverty and the worsening condition of farmers. The party said that the government’s intentions had come under question after students and young people protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar for a transparent examination system and employment were subjected to a lathi-charge and the use of pellet guns.

The party asked who had ordered the firing of pellet guns. It also targeted the Yogi government over the law-and-order situation in the state.

The Samajwadi Party alleged that incidents involving the killing of people from the PDA category, rape of daughters and the filing of fake cases had increased because of an alleged nexus between BJP-protected criminals and the police. The party also accused the government of taking action in cases of deaths in police custody and bulldozer action on the basis of caste and religion.

Regarding the Vishwakarma community, the Samajwadi Party claimed that incidents including the killing of 45 young people from the community and the rape of daughters had taken place, but effective action had not been taken against the criminals.

The party further alleged that the BJP government had ended decisions taken in the interest of the Vishwakarma community during the previous Samajwadi Party government.

The Samajwadi Party claimed that over the last ten years, the PDA category had suffered the loss of reservation in 11,514 reserved posts across 22 recruitment examinations. It also claimed that 20 examinations had been leaked.

The party appealed to the people to remove the BJP in 2027 and form a government under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav. It said this government would deliver justice to the PDA, young people, farmers and the poor.
