Vadnagar-to-Varanasi Travellers Receive Grand Welcome Across Pratapgarh

Travellers who had set out from Vadnagar for Varanasi received a grand welcome and felicitation at several places in the Pratapgarh Assembly constituency. Welcome programmes were organised at Lohia Nagar Tiraha, Bihar Ganj Market, Chilbila Chauraha, Prabhavati Palace and Mahuli.

At Chilbila Chauraha, Bharatiya Janata Party workers welcomed the travellers with enthusiasm. The area echoed with slogans of “Vande Mataram” and “Bharatiya Janata Party Zindabad”. There was considerable enthusiasm among the workers during the programme.

Those present on the occasion included Sadar MLA Rajendra Kumar Maurya, BJP district president Ashish Srivastava, Yuva Morcha district president Anshuman Singh, BJP leader Ashutosh Tripathi, regional working committee member Ashok Mishra, Vadnagar programme convenor Praveen Desai, Divya Pal Singh Solanki and Yuva Morcha state vice-president Sonu Valmiki. A large number of BJP workers also attended the welcome programme.

Local people and BJP workers welcomed the travellers with flower garlands and felicitated them. Arrangements were also made for breakfast and meals for the travellers in Pratapgarh.

The welcome programmes were held at different locations as the travellers passed through the Pratapgarh Assembly constituency on their journey from Vadnagar to Varanasi. After the programmes, the travellers were given a respectful farewell. Their next halt after Pratapgarh was Varanasi.
