After approximately nine in the evening every night, dozens of dumpers laden with illegally mined soil ply the roads within one kilometer of the police outpost in Anupshahr Kotwali area without any fear of action. What is most alarming is that these mining businessmen are no longer confining their operations to the night hours and have started extracting soil even during the day. This brazen conduct naturally raises questions about the working style and effectiveness of the regional administration.

According to allegations, the mining operators are luring farmers with incentives and extracting soil from their fertile agricultural land. This practice poses a dual threat: not only does it render productive farmland barren, but it also threatens to have an adverse impact on the environment.
