Illegal school in Chandausi shut down after safety violations found during inspection

A school in Chandausi's Panjabi Colony was found operating illegally without proper documentation and mandatory clearances during a surprise inspection conducted by the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA), officials said.

The AM World Kids School lacked all official records when BSA officials inspected the institution. The school was functioning without a No Objection Certificate from the fire department and was being run in an old building, raising serious safety concerns for the young children enrolled there.

The BSA immediately served a notice to the school management and ordered its closure, announcing that action would be taken against the school operator for endangering the lives of the children.

The inspection was part of the Yogi government's ongoing checking campaign targeting illegally operated schools and colleges across the state, aimed at ensuring the safety and security of young students. The campaign has been launched with a focus on protecting school children and toddlers from institutions that violate norms.

Despite the government's sustained efforts against what authorities describe as the education mafia, operators continue to put children's lives at risk by running unauthorized educational facilities. The AM World Kids School case emerged during the BSA's inspection in Panjabi Colony on Friday.
