A 10-day special awareness campaign on disaster management and rescue operations concluded in Hathras on Wednesday. The campaign was organised to make people more aware of disaster management, rescue measures and the steps that can be taken during emergencies.

As part of the campaign, special awareness camps were held at various locations across the district. These included the Hathras, Sadabad, Sikandra Rao and Sasni tehsils. Camps were also organised in major schools, where people and students were informed about ways to protect themselves during disasters.

During the 10-day campaign, participants were given information about the process of providing CPR, precautions that need to be taken during natural disasters such as floods, and measures for staying safe in emergency situations.
