Grand Lord Ram Idol Procession Held In Sambhal's Buddhanagar Khandwa

A grand procession carrying an idol of Lord Shri Ram was taken out with great enthusiasm and devotion in Buddhanagar Khandwa village of the Chandausi area in Sambhal/Chandausi.

The idol of Lord Shri Ram will be installed at a place called Baba, near the old temple crossroads in Buddhanagar Khandwa. According to the organising committee, lakhs of devotees and श्रद्धालु will attend the installation ceremony.

As part of the event, journalist Totaram Rana, Bhure Master and the villagers jointly took the procession carrying the idol of Lord Ram through several villages. Chants of “Jai Shri Ram” filled the area during the procession, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere.

Residents welcomed the procession at different places by showering flowers on it. Devotees walked along while singing bhajans and taking part in kirtan to the tunes of drums, नगाड़े and band music. A large number of भक्तगण were present during the procession.

The villagers said that a demand for the establishment of a temple at this place had been raised for years. They said the demand is now close to being fulfilled with the planned installation of the idol.

The police administration has also been informed about the event in connection with security arrangements.

Sitaram, Kedari, Nanak Tent, Umesh Rana, Mahendra Singh Pradhan and Mahipal Singh Dealer were among those present at the Lord Ram procession. Other people from the village and the surrounding area also participated in the event.

The religious programme has generated considerable enthusiasm across the area. The procession was marked by the participation of villagers, devotional singing, music and repeated chants of “Jai Shri Ram” as the idol was taken through several villages before its installation at the old temple crossroads area in Buddhanagar Khandwa.
