At Arya conference, Ramdev praises Yogi, targets Rahul Gandhi over jobs

Yoga guru Swami Ramdev attended the provincial Arya Mahasammelan held at Baburam Bhay Singh Degree College in Babrala, in Sambhal. The three-day event, organised in Gunnaur tehsil, concluded on Monday.

Swami Ramdev was the main speaker on the final day of the conference. Addressing the gathering, he said that some people were harming Sanatan Dharma through ostentation and hypocrisy. He urged society to stay away from superstition and follow the true path shown by the Vedas.

Swami Ramdev also appealed to people to donate openly to temples and gurukuls. He said that society should support these institutions and strengthen their work.

During his political remarks, Swami Ramdev praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that Yogi Adityanath was doing more than expected for Sanatan. Swami Ramdev also targeted Rahul Gandhi on the issue of employment.

The conference was held over three days at Baburam Bhay Singh Degree College in Babrala. It concluded on Monday after the final-day programme addressed by Swami Ramdev.

Rajiv Gulati of MDH also attended the programme. He said that he would support more than 150 gurukuls and repeated his commitment to continue helping them in the future.

Former minister DP Yadav, former MLA Ajit Kumar, Divya Prakash Yadav, block chief Junabai Dayashankar Arya and Ved Basu Arya were among those present at the event. Several prominent leaders and thousands of people also attended the conference.

Heavy police forces were deployed at the venue from a security point of view. The arrangements were made as a large number of people and several senior leaders gathered for the concluding programme of the provincial Arya Mahasammelan.

The event brought together speakers, leaders and attendees at the college in Babrala for discussions centred on the Vedas, Sanatan Dharma, temples and gurukuls. During his address, Swami Ramdev focused on the need to reject superstition and hypocrisy and to adopt what he described as the truthful path of the Vedas.
