Food Safety Team Raids Two Bahraich Shops, Collects Four Samples for Testing
Food Safety Team Conducts Raids in Bahraich A team of food safety officials conducted raids in Khutehna and Payagpur in Bahraich on 3 November.
A team of food safety officials conducted raids in Khutehna and Payagpur in Bahraich on 3 November. The action was carried out on the basis of information received by the department.
The team first raided a shop outside Khutehna market. A sample of chhena and a sample of semolina-based sweets were collected from food business operator Vinod Chauhan.
After this, the officials reached Gupta Pede Wale’s establishment at Payagpur Chauraha. Samples of chhena and barfi were collected from the premises.
The samples collected by the food safety officials are being sent to a laboratory for testing. The laboratory examination will determine the status of the food samples.
The department said that only one team was present in the district for the action. The second team had gone to another district to carry out action.
The operation in Bahraich was conducted by Food Safety Officers Vinay Kumar, Kripa Shankar and Mukesh Kumar Srivastava.
