BJP organizes blood donation camp in Unnao on Modi's birthday

A blood donation camp was organized at Umashankhar Dixit District Hospital in Unnao by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan being conducted on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon. A large number of youths and BJP workers participated in this service by donating blood during the event.

Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta, who arrived at the camp, encouraged the youths donating blood and appealed to more and more people to come forward in this noble work. He said that blood donation plays an important role in saving lives for needy patients. This is a commendable medium of fulfilling one's responsibility towards society.

During the program, the MLA met patients admitted in the district hospital and inquired about their well-being. He also distributed fruits among the patients. Meanwhile, people who donated blood were given certificates of appreciation and fruits as gratitude for their spirit of service.

After this, Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta reached Jhandeshwar temple located at Bara Chauraha. Here he performed ritual worship and lit a lamp, praying for public welfare.

The program was attended by a large number of BJP workers and office bearers including State Vice President and District In-charge Archana Mishra, MP Sakshi Maharaj, BJP District President Anurag Awasthi, General Secretary Manish Jaiswal, BJP leader Ashish Vajpayee, Yuva Morcha District President Balarao Gupta, District Vice President Ritesh Singh Chauhan, General Secretary Uday Pratap Singh, Deepak Singh and Kaushal Singh.
