BJP youth wing chief Rohit Mishra receives massive welcome in Unnao, calls for 2027 victory

A massive outpouring of youth greeted the newly appointed State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Rohit Mishra, during his first visit to Unnao on Friday, where he sounded the clarion call for a decisive victory in 2027. The unprecedented reception witnessed thousands of young workers and party cadres lining the route from Gadan Kheda bypass's Baiswara Dwar all the way to the BJP district office, transforming the streets into a sea of saffron enthusiasm.

Dr. Rohit Mishra's arrival was marked by thunderous celebrations featuring drums, fireworks and resounding slogans that echoed across the city. Party workers and youth volunteers had begun assembling at strategic locations since noon, including Korari Mod, Baiswara Dwar, the MP's office, Hira Garden, Husain Nagar crossing and Fantasy Motel, in anticipation of the State President's maiden visit to the district.

The cavalcade carrying Dr. Rohit Mishra reached the district at approximately quarter past three in the afternoon, triggering a spectacular display of welcome. Cranes and JCB machines were deployed to shower flower petals from above, while rose petals carpeted the road beneath his motorcade. The State President was felicitated with mementos and presented with a portrait of immortal martyr Pandit Chandrashekhar Azad as a mark of respect and honour.

Following the initial reception, Dr. Rohit Mishra was escorted to the BJP district office in a grand procession comprising hundreds of motorcycles and four-wheelers that wound through the main thoroughfares of Unnao. The sheer scale of the turnout demonstrated the organizational strength and youthful energy that the Yuva Morcha commands in the district.

During his packed itinerary in Unnao, the State President paid floral tributes at the statue of immortal martyr Gulab Singh Lodhi located at the MP's residence. He participated in multiple community programmes including cow service initiatives, the rice-feeding ceremony for children, and food distribution events that underscored the social welfare dimension of the organization's work. In keeping with the environmental consciousness that the party seeks to promote, Dr. Rohit Mishra planted a sapling under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, conveying a strong message of nature conservation. Later, he offered a garland at the statue of immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad in Badraka, bowing to the martyr's indomitable courage and supreme sacrifice for the nation. The State President also dined at a party worker's home, reinforcing the grassroots connect that forms the backbone of party organization.

The centerpiece of the visit was an introductory and organizational meeting held at the BJP district office, where Dr. Rohit Mishra energized party workers with a rousing address. He emphasized that Yuva Morcha is not merely a political organization but represents the very ethos of nation-building. Calling upon cadres to mobilize with full force, he rallied them for the party's return to power with an absolute majority in the year 2027.

Reviewing preparations for the 'Janmabhoomi Se Karmabhoomi' journey, Dr. Rohit Mishra announced that under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', youth from approximately 45 districts of Uttar Pradesh will participate in a motorcycle rally. This mass mobilization effort is designed to connect with young voters across the state and showcase the party's commitment to their aspirations.

Addressing a press conference, the State President highlighted the government's determined crackdown on the examination mafia. He pointed out that stringent laws and a high-level task committee have been constituted to ensure transparency in the recruitment process. Dr. Rohit Mishra enumerated the government's achievements across multiple domains including employment generation, Skill India initiatives, startup ecosystem development and law and order maintenance. He reiterated that the administration is working on a zero-tolerance policy against criminals.
