Bahraich SP honours Inspector Amitendra Singh for arrest of ₹25,000-reward accused

Bahraich Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Srivastava presented a certificate of appreciation to Dargah Sharif police station in-charge Inspector Amitendra Singh for his role in the arrest of wanted accused Vishal Mishra.

According to Bahraich Police, Vishal Mishra was wanted in connection with case crime number 372/26 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act and 317(2) of the BNS, and case crime number 373/26 under Sections 262/262 of the BNS at Dargah Sharif police station. Police said he had escaped from police custody and carried a reward of ₹25,000.

Police said Inspector Amitendra Singh showed exceptional courage, presence of mind and promptness while successfully arresting the accused. The department described his role in the challenging and sensitive operation as skilled, courageous and commendable.

SP Vishwajeet Srivastava praised the officer's courageous and dedicated work while presenting the certificate. He wished Inspector Singh a bright future and expressed confidence that he would continue to discharge his official duties with dedication, a strong sense of duty and commitment, bringing pride to the police department.
