Bahraich Jail officials honored with medals on Independence Day

Three officials and staff members of Bahraich District Jail were honored for their outstanding contributions to the prison department during a special Independence Day ceremony. The awards, including one gold medal and two silver medals, were presented by the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Prisons.

The ceremony, held within the jail premises, was led by Acting Jail Superintendent Ajay Kumar Jha. On the occasion, Deputy Jailor Ranjeet Singh received the prestigious gold medal, while Urdu Translator Mohammad Shuaib and Head Jail Warden Prabhakar Tripathi were awarded silver medals for their exemplary service. The event saw the participation of the entire jail staff and inmates, adding to the significance of the celebration.
