Amethi police reconcile separated couple through Mission Shakti counseling initiative

Amethi police is earning appreciation not only for maintaining law and order but also for strengthening relationships, with the khaki uniform now playing the role of a peacemaker in domestic disputes.

Under Mission Shakti, a campaign focused on women's safety, women's dignity, and women's self-reliance, the Women's Police Station in Amethi successfully reconciled a married couple who had been living separately. Smt. Deepshikha Singh, Station House Officer of the Women's Police Station, along with her team, listened to complaints regarding disputes between the husband and wife. The team worked to resolve the problems and counseled the couple to live together.

After the counseling session, one married couple agreed happily to live together again and returned home. The couple thanked the Amethi police for their intervention and support. The Amethi police, in turn, extended their best wishes to the couple for their future life together.

The initiative highlights the commendable work being done by the Amethi district police, which is not only focused on enforcing law and order but is also dedicated to mending and strengthening personal relationships within the community.
