Banda police opens Mission Shakti center for women's safety on Raksha Bandhan

Bisanda Police Station in Banda district inaugurated an advanced Mission Shakti Center on Raksha Bandhan, marking a significant step toward women and girls' safety and empowerment. The center was specially opened by young girls in a symbolic gesture that underscored the initiative's commitment to building confidence and awareness among its primary beneficiaries.

The initiative was launched under the guidance of Banda Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal and Additional Superintendent of Police Shivraj as part of the Uttar Pradesh government's Mission Shakti campaign. The campaign focuses on the safety, dignity, self-reliance, and empowerment of women and girls across the state. By choosing Raksha Bandhan, a festival celebrating the bond of protection, Bisanda Police reinforced the cultural resonance of safeguarding women.

The advanced Mission Shakti Center has been designed to address the problems faced by women and girls, provide security-related awareness, and offer essential assistance and guidance. Through this facility, women and girls will receive information about their rights, safety measures, and various welfare schemes and services run by the state government.
