Devipatan Mandal expands women's grievance program to all four districts for Raksha Bandhan

The Devipatan Mandal has expanded its 'Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad' program to all four districts as a special Raksha Bandhan gift for women in the region. Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal announced the expansion to ensure quick, quality, and time-bound resolution of women's grievances closer to their homes.

The initiative falls under Mission Shakti 5.0, through which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has prioritized women's safety, dignity, and self-reliance across Uttar Pradesh. Originally launched for the divisional headquarters, the program will now operate in all four districts of Devipatan Mandal, eliminating the need for women from remote districts to travel to the main office.

Under the expanded framework, District Magistrates have been directed to dedicate two days each month, excluding Mondays, from 12 noon to 2 pm specifically for hearing women's complaints related to health, education, medical care, security, land disputes, and other issues. Each district will appoint a senior woman officer as the nodal officer responsible for maintaining records, necessary correspondence, coordination with concerned departments, and regular review of cases.

Divisional Commissioner Nagpal emphasized that the core objective is to prevent women from making repeated visits to the divisional office and ensure sensitive, prompt action on their complaints. The program aims to provide women across the mandal with security, respect, compassionate hearing, and time-bound solutions in line with the Chief Minister's directives.

The expansion of Maa Pateshwari Shakti Samvad is being viewed as a significant step toward making governance more accessible and responsive to women's needs at the grassroots level, strengthening the state government's commitment to women's empowerment under Mission Shakti 5.0.
