Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Mother Kashibai Dies at Bhopal AIIMS

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s mother, Kashibai, died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhopal. She breathed her last at the hospital.

News of Kashibai’s death led to an outpouring of grief among members of the family, relatives and well-wishers. The family is mourning her death, while condolences are being expressed by supporters, party leaders and well-wishers.

After her death, Shivraj Singh Chouhan left AIIMS with his mother’s mortal remains and reached his residence in Saket Nagar, Bhopal. The mortal remains were brought to the residence so that family members, relatives and well-wishers could pay their last respects.

According to information provided by the family, Kashibai’s mortal remains will later be taken from the Bhopal residence to the ancestral village of Jait in Sehore district. Her last rites will be performed there on Friday at 3 pm, following the family’s rituals.

The family has said that the final viewing will take place at the Saket Nagar residence before the mortal remains are taken to Jait. Arrangements are being made to take the body to the ancestral village for the cremation.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan was very close to his mother. Despite the demands and responsibilities of public life, he often expressed his love and respect for her. Her death has left the family in deep grief.

Kashibai had been receiving treatment at AIIMS in Bhopal before her death. The news of her passing has also prompted condolences from those associated with Shivraj Singh Chouhan, including supporters, party leaders and other well-wishers.
