Youth arrested after stolen mobile phone recovered in Aligarh operation
A youth was arrested in connection with a mobile phone theft and sent to jail after police recovered the stolen device from his possession.
The mobile phone belonging to Reshma, wife of Sharif, a resident of Jalalapur under Rorawar police station in Aligarh, was stolen on Sunday. The woman had lodged a complaint at Rorawar police station.
Police formed a team based on information received from an informer and arrested the accused from near the railway underpass bridge towards village Salempur Mafi. The stolen mobile phone was also recovered during the operation.
During interrogation, the accused identified himself as Vishal, son of Mahavir, resident of Gaumat under Khair police station.
Police took action against the accused and sent him to jail.
