Young man found dead near highway in Amethi, suspected electrocution from loose wires

A young man's body was found under suspicious circumstances in bushes near the highway, far from his home in Amethi, triggering panic among his family members.

According to reports, the youth had left his house the previous day. People are suspecting that death occurred when he came in contact with an electric wire while cutting a wild tree in the area.

The family members have alleged that the young man died after coming in contact with wires hanging due to the negligence of the electricity department.

The discovery of the body today, 500 meters away from his house, caused widespread alarm in the locality.

Upon receiving information, police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination. The police have now engaged themselves in legal proceedings.
