A meeting was held at the camp office under the leadership of Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta to finalize arrangements for the procession, including its route, welcoming arches, and tableaux.
Speaking about the event, MLA Pankaj Gupta shared that the Shiva statue at Bada Chauraha had been deteriorating over the years. To restore its glory, a beautification project and reinstallation ceremony will take place on August 11. The Shobha Yatra will begin at Bal Khadeshwar Mahadev Temple in Pariyar and pass through multiple villages, including Bahraula, Basdhana, Hajipur, Fatehpur, and Shuklaganj, before culminating at Bada Chauraha.
The procession will feature 21 grand tableaux showcasing various forms of Lord Shiva and Sanatan culture, offering devotees a visual treat. Preparations for welcoming arches and other arrangements along the route are nearing completion. Gupta emphasized that this is not just a religious event but a celebration of unity and faith within the Sanatan community. He urged people to participate in large numbers to make the event historic.
The meeting was attended by several prominent individuals, including Manoj Nigam, Surendra Verma, and Avnish Gupta, along with numerous organizers. The event is expected to draw significant participation from the local community, reinforcing the cultural and spiritual heritage of Unnao.
