Ujjain police deploy 300 personnel in festival season flag march for peace

Ujjain police conducted a flag march across multiple police station areas in the city under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police Ujjain, aimed at maintaining peace, law and order, and mutual harmony in view of the upcoming festivals. More than 300 police personnel participated in the march that covered various sensitive locations and key routes in the city.

The flag march was organized keeping in mind the forthcoming festivals with the objective of ensuring that peace, law and order, and communal harmony are preserved in the city. The police force undertook the march through foot patrols and vehicular processions in the areas falling under Mahakal police station, Jeevajiganj police station, Madhavnagar police station, and Nanakheda police station.

During the flag march, the police force visited prominent roads and sensitive areas in these jurisdictions both on foot and through vehicles. Approximately more than 300 police officers and personnel took part in the flag march, making their presence felt across the city.

The police force assured the general public of their safety and conveyed the message that the upcoming festivals will be celebrated in a peaceful, harmonious, and secure environment. Ujjain police appealed to citizens to maintain mutual brotherhood and goodwill, cooperate in maintaining law and order, and not pay attention to any kind of rumours.

Ujjain police requested citizens to immediately inform the police of any suspicious activity or unpleasant incident. The police reiterated that Ujjain police is always committed to the safety of citizens and maintaining peace in the city.
