Sri Vaishnav Mahila Sabha celebrates Krishna Janmashtami with devotional performances at Sambhal temple

Sri Vaishnav Mahila Sabha celebrated the festival of Krishna Janmashtami with devotion and enthusiasm at Mahamrityunjay Tirth Mandir Saraitarin in Sambhal. Bhagwan Shri Krishna was offered bhog of 56 types of dishes. Puja-archana and aarti were performed according to rituals.

During the occasion, the devotional spirit of the women adorned as Yashoda Maa for Janmashtami captivated everyone present. The women presented dance and drama performances based on the childhood pastimes of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. The beautiful presentation of Bal Krishna's leelas and associated episodes mesmerized the devotees present in the temple premises. The women made the atmosphere even more devotional by presenting bhakti songs, and the temple premises echoed with the chants hailing Shri Krishna.

Prasad was distributed among the devotees at the end. Chief guest Uma Vaishnav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The program was presided over by Shikha Prakash and conducted by Chhaya Vaishnav. On this occasion, Shaili Vaishnav, Anju Vaishnav, Sonal Arya, Sandhya Vaishnav, Vinita, Kamini, Jyoti, Usha, Reena, Sangita, Aarti, Deepika, Rashmi, Shilpi and others were present.
