Sanitation Workers Felicitated At Bhangaha Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan

A felicitation programme for sanitation workers, described as Swachhata Praharis, was organised at Gram Panchayat Bhangaha in Hariharpur Rani, where their labour and dignity were recognised as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

The programme was held at the premises of Gram Panchayat Bhangaha, under Development Block Hariharpur Rani, in the 289-Bhinga Assembly constituency. It was organised under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Sangathan, Shravasti.

According to the press note, the event was connected with the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan being run on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister respected Shri Narendra Modi ji. It was also held on the birthday of Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Sangathan’s national president and guardian Shri Naresh Agarwal ji.

The programme focused on honouring sanitation workers who have been continuously engaged in strengthening cleanliness arrangements at different places across the Hariharpur Rani development block area. These workers were felicitated for their role in taking the message of cleanliness to the last person in society and in helping create a clean environment from village to village.

As part of the felicitation, the sanitation workers were presented with gamchas. The organisers expressed respect and gratitude towards them, saying that the labour of sanitation workers forms the foundation of a healthy and beautiful future for society.

During the programme, useful materials required for sanitation work were also distributed among the Swachhata Praharis. These included spades, brooms, baskets and other necessary items.

The organisers said the purpose of the event was not limited only to honouring the workers. It was also meant to encourage those engaged in sanitation work and to provide them with essential resources that could help them in their duties.

Those present at the programme included Safai Karmachari Sangh Hariharpur Rani president Shri Ram Charitra, Pradhan representative Sanjay Pandey ji, Pradhan Bachhraj ji, Pradhan Shivkumar Maurya ji, Pradhan Pramod Gupta ji, Pradhan Balwinder Singh ji, Pradeep Singh ji, Pradhan Sudhir Singh ji, Pankaj Ojha ji, Mahendra Pathak ji, Dharmendra Shahu ji and Amit Singh ji.

Office-bearers of the trade organisation were also present at the programme.
