Samajwadi Party blames BJP for Shravasti's development issues

Samajwadi Party’s national secretary Masood Alam Khan has blamed the BJP MLA and the state government for the backwardness of Shravasti district in Uttar Pradesh. During his visit to the constituency, Khan highlighted the lack of basic facilities in the area, stating that it remains far behind in terms of development. “There are no adequate employment opportunities, industries, good schools, or quality hospitals here. The district doesn’t even have a bus station or railway connectivity. Broken roads and a poor electricity supply have become the identity of Shravasti,” he said.

Khan pointed out that Shravasti ranks 75th among the state’s districts on development indicators, making it one of the most backward regions in Uttar Pradesh. He held the BJP MLA and the state government responsible for this situation, criticizing their failure to bring about any significant change despite being in power for a long time. “The BJP has done nothing to improve the condition of Shravasti. The district’s picture remains the same,” he added.

Expressing confidence in the people of Shravasti, Khan said they are now aware of the reality and will respond strongly in the 2027 assembly elections. “The public will use the power of their vote to give a fitting reply to the BJP and pave the way for change,” he stated.

Khan assured that if the Samajwadi Party comes to power, it will prioritize the development of Shravasti. He promised concrete efforts in areas like employment, education, healthcare, roads, electricity, transportation, and industries to bring the district into the mainstream of progress.
