Samajwadi Party intensifies poster war against BJP in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: The political landscape in Uttar Pradesh has heated up as the Samajwadi Party (SP) escalates its poster war against the ruling BJP. New posters outside the SP headquarters on Vikramaditya Marg in Lucknow have sparked fresh controversy, targeting the BJP on issues of alleged corruption and reservation policies.

One of the posters reads, "Chanda chori se chala jinka ghar, ab aarakshan par kar rahe hain prashn" (Their home runs on stolen donations, now they question reservation). Through this message, the SP has accused the BJP of corruption while linking it to the issue of social justice.

Another poster features SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and MP Dimple Yadav with the slogan, "27 mein Akhilesh ka raj, 29 mein Dimple Yadav ka taj" (Akhilesh’s rule in 2027, Dimple Yadav’s crown in 2029). This message is being seen as a clear political signal ahead of the upcoming state assembly and general elections.

These posters have reportedly been put up by SP leader Hallu Ram Sundar Yadav from Pratapgarh. The timing of this campaign is significant, as debates over reservation policies and the donation funds for Ram Lalla's temple have already intensified political rivalries in the state.

The emergence of these posters has ignited new discussions in Uttar Pradesh’s political circles. Analysts believe that as the 2027 assembly elections approach, the poster war between political parties could become even more aggressive.
