Over thousand women gather in Unnao for women's safety and empowerment event

A Shakti Vandan Raksha Mahotsav was organized at Nirala Auditorium in Unnao on Thursday afternoon, drawing participation from over one thousand women. The event was organized by Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta.

The large presence of women created a festive atmosphere in the auditorium premises. The program delivered a message of awareness regarding women's respect, security and women power.

BJP district president Anurag Awasthi, Vimal Dwivedi and several party office-bearers and workers were present at the event. Speakers said that the role of women in the development of society is important. They stated that the security and respect of women is the responsibility not only of the family but of the entire society. Women were urged to remain aware of their rights and to contact the concerned department or police in case of any difficulty.

Speakers said that women are no longer limited only to family responsibilities, but are also playing an important role in education, employment, politics, administration and the social sector. They emphasized that providing a safe and respectful environment for them to move forward is the collective responsibility of society.

According to the organizers, over one thousand women participated in the program. Women started arriving from the morning and a large number of women remained present in the auditorium until the afternoon. Organizers and BJP workers managed arrangements including entry, seating and other facilities.

Security arrangements were also made at the venue keeping in view the large number of women. Police personnel along with workers of the organizers were assigned different responsibilities. Surveillance was maintained at the entry gate and auditorium premises.

The program concluded peacefully. Through the event, a message of women's respect, security, self-reliance and empowerment was conveyed. At the conclusion, the organizers expressed gratitude to the women and guests who attended the program.
