NTPC Auraiya launches Hindi Pakhwada with fortnight of competitions and cultural events

NTPC Auraiya has kicked off its Hindi Divas and Hindi Pakhwada celebrations for 2026, continuing the annual tradition observed across all NTPC projects nationwide. The fortnight-long event, which began on 14 September 2026, will continue until 28 September 2026, and aims to promote and propagate Hindi as the official language through a series of competitions and activities.

The formal inauguration of Hindi Pakhwada took place on 14 September 2026 in front of the administrative building located in the project premises. Shri Shubhashish Guha, Project Head of NTPC Auraiya, administered an oath to the Additional General Managers, Heads of Departments, officers and employees present at the ceremony, urging them to conduct maximum work in Hindi and to adopt Hindi as the language of work and conduct in their daily operations.

During the inauguration ceremony, Shri Manoj Anand, Additional General Manager for Operation and Maintenance, read out the Hindi Divas appeal message of the Project Head, NTPC Auraiya, to all those assembled.

The Hindi Pakhwada this year will feature a diverse range of competitions and programmes designed for employees, housewives from the township, and schoolchildren. The events planned include essay writing competitions, expression of thoughts sessions, humorous poetry conferences, Hindi poetry and song recitation contests, and various other activities aimed at encouraging wider participation.

Through such initiatives, NTPC Auraiya continuously motivates its employees to work in Hindi, with the objective of establishing the official language Hindi as a language of efficiency and effectiveness in official functioning. The celebrations are being held with great enthusiasm, mirroring the spirit seen across all NTPC establishments during this important observance dedicated to the Hindi language.
