NTPC Auraiya wins Rajbhasha Shikhar Samman award for promoting Hindi language

NTPC Auraiya has been honored with the prestigious Rajbhasha Shikhar Samman award in recognition of its exemplary work in promoting the official language. The award was presented by Governor of Nagaland Nand Kishore Yadav at a special ceremony held at the Bihar Vidhan Sabha auditorium in Patna on August 27, 2026.

The Rajbhasha Shikhar Samman recognizes organizations that have made outstanding contributions toward implementing and promoting Hindi as the official language in their official work and communication. NTPC Auraiya's consistent efforts in adopting Hindi across various administrative and operational functions earned it this distinguished recognition.

Senior Manager for Human Resources and Rajbhasha at NTPC Auraiya, Alok Adhikari, received the award on behalf of the organization at the grand function. The ceremony witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries who graced the occasion with their participation.

Bihar Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr Prem Kumar attended the event alongside former Sikkim Governor Ganga Prasad. Former Union Minister Ashwini Choube and former Director General of Police of Bihar government Alok Raj were also present at the ceremony, adding significance to the occasion.

NTPC Auraiya, part of the country's largest power generation company, has been actively implementing the official language policy in its day-to-day operations. The award reflects the organization's commitment to promoting Hindi in the power sector and serves as an encouragement for continued efforts in this direction.
