NEET 2026 Exam Duration Extended to 195 Minutes: Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced that the duration of the NEET 2026 examination will be extended by 15 minutes, giving candidates a total of 195 minutes to complete the test. Speaking to reporters in Bhopal, Pradhan assured that the exam would be conducted in a fair and systematic manner, emphasizing the government’s commitment to transparency and justice in the process.

The minister urged students to focus on their studies without any apprehension, stating that the government is taking all necessary steps to ensure a smooth and impartial examination. “We are committed to providing a just environment for every candidate. No student will face any injustice during the process,” Pradhan said during his interaction with the media at the airport.

The decision to extend the exam duration aims to provide students with additional time to carefully attempt the paper, reducing stress and improving the overall experience. This move reflects the government’s efforts to address concerns raised by students and stakeholders about the challenging nature of the exam.
