CJP to Protest in Nagpur Today, Founder Abhijeet Deepke to Address

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is set to protest in Nagpur today, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The protest will take place at 4 PM at Constitution Chowk. Founder Abhijeet Deepke has urged students, youth, and locals to join the peaceful demonstration through a video message on social media. Before the protest, Deepke will address a press conference at 12 PM.

The CJP has been organizing protests across the country over the NEET paper leak issue. On Monday, the party held a demonstration in Jaipur at the Shaheed Smarak on MI Road. During the event, Deepke was assaulted by some individuals in the crowd, leading to chaos. Police arrested five individuals—Rohit Sharma, Rakesh Gurjar, Ajay Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, and Niket—for disturbing public order. The accused stated they were upset with Deepke's social media statements and the party's approach.

In Nagpur, security has been tightened in anticipation of a large turnout, with police estimating over 2,000 participants. A total of 640 personnel, including 4 DCPs, 3 ACPs, 18 inspectors, and 45 sub-inspectors, have been deployed. Two riot control platoons are also on standby. Police Commissioner Ravinderkumar Singal has warned of strict action against any attempts to disrupt law and order.

Abhijeet Deepke, who founded the CJP on May 16 following a remark by Chief Justice Surya Kant, has previously worked as a social media strategist for the Aam Aadmi Party. The party has gained significant traction online, with millions of followers across platforms.
