District officials meet to boost academics in SC/ST hostels across Ujjain

A meeting of superintendents of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe hostels was held in Ujjain district under the chairmanship of CEO District Panchayat Shreyans Kumat. The meeting focused on establishing parental dialogue with students and concentrating on their academic progress and all-round development.

The meeting was organised for all superintendents of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe hostels operating in Ujjain district. Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Kumat provided necessary guidelines regarding the education and all-round development of students residing in the hostels during the meeting.

He said that superintendents should establish an intimate dialogue with students as guardians and continuously motivate and guide them towards studies while understanding their problems. He gave directions to promote innovation-based educational activities in the hostels.

Kumat instructed that students should be encouraged to prepare for competitive examinations like Olympiad, informed about the use of modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its future benefits, and motivated to use AI positively and usefully in their studies.

Giving top priority to the health of students, Kumat directed that health examinations of students residing in hostels should be conducted every month. He also directed superintendents to regularly visit the concerned schools and discuss the academic progress of students with teachers, and ensure necessary guidance and support for weak students.
