Namo Yuva Run held in Kigali celebrates youth's role in nation-building

The 'Namo Yuva Run' was organized in Kigali on the occasion of the birthday of India's Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This event was dedicated to the energy of youth, their aspirations and their contribution to nation-building.

The event was not limited to merely celebrating a birthday. It brought young people together on a single platform while keeping the broader vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) at the center. The objective was that youth understand and play their role in building a more connected, prosperous and sustainable future.

Members of the Indian community, young participants and friends of India in Rwanda took part in the run. On this occasion, fitness, youth participation, community spirit and people-to-people contact between India and Rwanda were promoted. The event underlined that youth act as a bridge between both societies.

Relations between India and Rwanda are continuously strengthening in the areas of education, technology, entrepreneurship, capacity building and exchanges between people. Such efforts that connect the youth of both countries help in building a better understanding of each other's culture, ambitions and development experiences.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saurabh Singhal, Chapter Head of The Diplomatic Club, said that the simple message of Namo Yuva Run is this, today's youth are tomorrow's builders. By encouraging youth to come together, remain active and make positive contributions to their communities, this initiative strengthens the culture of participation and responsibility.

The spirit of Viksit Bharat was also reflected in the programme, which is based on innovation, opportunity, inclusive development and active participation of the young population.

The Diplomatic Club expressed gratitude towards the participants, volunteers and members of the Indian and Rwandan communities, with whose cooperation this event became successful.

This run not only brought the message of health and fitness, but also became a medium to further strengthen India-Rwanda friendship. Such programmes that give the right direction to youth energy can lay the foundation for even deeper relations between both countries in the future.
