Muzzaffarnagar woman seeks justice for son's alleged murder, demands financial aid

A woman from the Bhopa police station area of Muzzaffarnagar district has approached the Senior Superintendent of Police seeking justice, alleging the murder of her son. The woman has submitted a petition demanding strict legal action against the accused and financial assistance for her family.

According to the petition, Mausam Pali, wife of late Neetu, resident of village Bhopa, stated that on the evening of 31 August 2026, her son Vansh was called by his friends over the phone. The woman has alleged that Vansh went to the Belda area with his friends, where an argument and scuffle broke out with some people. She has alleged that during this incident, her son Vansh and his friends were assaulted, and Vansh was murdered and his body was thrown into the Ganga canal.

The woman has stated in her petition that her husband died several years ago. After the death of her son, only she and her three daughters remain in the family. According to the woman, the family's financial condition is extremely poor and their house has also been damaged due to rain.

The woman has made four main demands to the SSP. She has requested that the family be provided government accommodation, financial assistance be arranged from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, one of her daughters be given a government job according to her qualifications, and strict legal action be taken against the accused named in the case.

The woman has demanded that the Senior Superintendent of Police conduct an impartial investigation into the matter, take action against the guilty and provide assistance to the family.
