Gang rape case in Muzzafarnagar sparks calls for deeper probe and strict action

Outrage is mounting in Muzzafarnagar's Ramlila Tilla area over an alleged gang rape case involving a minor. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Sena has submitted a letter to the Senior Superintendent of Police demanding an impartial investigation and strict action against those accused in the case. Police have already arrested some of the accused, but the organization is pressing for comprehensive action.

In their letter, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Sena has called for the immediate arrest of all individuals reportedly involved in the incident and urged that they be given stringent punishment through due judicial process. The organization has also demanded a high-level, impartial probe into serious allegations made by the victim against medical staff and others connected to the case.

The letter specifically seeks an investigation into the role of Samrat Medical College, located on Mimlana Road. The organization has stated that if any irregularities or involvement come to light during the investigation, strict action should be taken against those found responsible. Additionally, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Sena has demanded a thorough investigation into alleged harassment incidents spanning the past several months related to this case, with legal action against anyone found guilty.

The organization has also emphasized the need to provide security, dignity, and justice to the victim and her family, while ensuring a time-bound investigation. On August 23, a panchayat was held at Ramlila Tilla ground where local residents raised demands for strict action against the accused and justice for the victim's family.

The case has drawn significant attention in the district, with civil society organizations and local groups increasingly vocal about ensuring accountability and protection for the minor victim in what they describe as a grave crime requiring swift and transparent investigation.
