Muzaffarnagar man seeks police help as family members forcibly occupy his house

A resident of Muzaffarnagar has approached the Senior Superintendent of Police alleging that members of his own family are forcibly trying to seize his house and threatening him with violence if he refuses to vacate. Sanjay, son of Lakhviram, who lives in Valmiki Basti under the Civil Lines police station jurisdiction, submitted a complaint to the SSP detailing harassment and unlawful occupation attempts at his residence.

In his petition, Sanjay stated that he resides at house number 137, Gajawali Kacchi Sadak, Valmiki Basti. He alleged that some members of his own family have been troubling him and attempting to take over his house. According to the complaint, different locks have been placed on the rooms of the house. When he asks for the locks to be opened, he is allegedly subjected to abusive behaviour and physical assault.

Sanjay further claimed that he is being threatened with legal action if he does not vacate the property. The complainant has expressed serious concern about the safety of his life and property, fearing escalation of the conflict. He stressed that the situation has left him vulnerable and in need of immediate police intervention to protect his rights and personal security.

In his appeal to the SSP, Sanjay has requested that the Civil Lines police be directed to investigate the matter and take necessary legal action. He has demanded that the illegal occupation of his house be removed and that adequate security be provided to ensure the safety of his life and property. The case highlights the growing problem of property disputes within families, often leading to harassment and violence, and underscores the need for timely police response to prevent such situations from spiralling out of control.
