Shamli Family Alleges Attack; Two Women Critical, Several Injured

An alleged life-threatening attack on a family has come to light in Khanpur village under the Babri police station area of Shamli district. Several members of the family, including Kavita, Ritika and Vishal, are reported to have been injured in the incident.

Kavita and Ritika were initially admitted to a hospital in Shamli. As their condition was considered serious, both women were referred from Shamli to the Muzaffarnagar District Hospital. Their treatment is continuing there.

According to the family members, the condition of both women remains critical. The incident has allegedly left several members of the family with serious injuries. The injured were first taken to the hospital in Shamli, after which the two women were referred to Muzaffarnagar because of the seriousness of their condition.

The victim side has alleged that Mohit, son of Jaiveer, Vineet, son of Jaidev, Yash, son of Sahdev, former village head Kapil, Rishabh and some other people from the same village attacked their family. The allegations concern an attack on several members of the family.

The victim family has also alleged that a complaint was submitted to the police, but the expected action was not taken against the accused. However, no official statement from the police has come in the matter so far. The allegations made in the case have also not been independently confirmed.

After receiving information about the matter, Ankit Kashyap, state president of Kashyap Ekta Kranti Mission, reached Muzaffarnagar District Hospital. He met the injured women and the victim family and sought information about the entire incident.

Ankit Kashyap said that if the Kashyap community family that has been affected does not get justice, the organisation will hold a huge sit-in protest. His statement is included in the report as a byte.
