A complaint has been submitted to the Senior Superintendent of Police in Muzaffarnagar alleging that a 14-year-old minor boy was assaulted and that his family members were abused and pressured. The complaint names village pradhan Arif and several others in connection with the alleged incidents in Dahkhedi village, under the jurisdiction of Sikhera police station.

The complaint was filed by Shaukeen, a resident of Dahkhedi village. He has accused village pradhan Arif, Muntazir, son of Hasan, Aslam, son of Islam, and Juber, son of Ninna, of assaulting his 14-year-old minor son, Tajim. Shaukeen has also alleged that the accused behaved abusively with his family and tried to put pressure on them.

The family has demanded an impartial investigation and legal action against the accused. According to the complaint submitted to the SSP, the first incident took place on 1 October 2026 at around 3 pm. Tajim was allegedly playing with other children in the locality when village pradhan Arif, Muntazir, Aslam and Juber allegedly took him away with them on a pretext and assaulted him.

According to the complainant, Tajim’s aunt, Shabana, tried to free him from the accused. It has been alleged that she was also subjected to abusive language and assault during the attempt.

The complaint further states that Shabana went to the pradhan’s house that evening to ask for money, but the pradhan was not at home. Later, at around 10-11 pm on the night of 1 October, the same people allegedly assaulted and abused Shabana and her minor daughter. The family has claimed that the girl suffered an injury to her leg in the incident.

The complainant has further alleged that, after the alleged assault, a false theft case was registered against Tajim in order to put pressure on the family. Shaukeen has said that he has a video of the assault in his possession.

The family has also alleged that the other side has been continuously putting pressure on them. They have expressed apprehension that an unpleasant incident could take place in the future as well.

Shaukeen submitted an application to the SSP on 8 October 2026. Through the application, he requested that Sikhera police be directed to register a report against village pradhan Arif, Muntazir, Aslam and Juber and take appropriate legal action.
